For example, the frame of the filters cannot break, the filtering, reusable cotton fabric is impregnated with a special oil and the aluminum mesh is resistant to gasoline vapors and oxidation thanks to treatment with an epoxy solution.

BMC's filter frame construction is manufactured in a unique process called "full molding". This allows the striking red filter to be produced in a single molding process without the need to glue the corners, which would cause breakage. Of all the filters available on the market, the BMC air filter has the least overhanging rubber material (less than 6 mm), thus maximizing the filter surface area.
