The rim can be mounted front & rear plug & play. It fits all tires up to 140 width. The rims themselves are manufactured in compliance with ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation) guidelines, the industry specification for rim and tire production.

The rim is approved for the following tire sizes:
- Tire size front: 120/70-12 in combination with
- Tire size rear 120-70/12 ww.130/70-12 ww. 140/70-12
- Front tire size: 130/70-12 in conjunction with
- Rear tire size 130-70/12 ww. 140/70-12
When using the tire 140/70-12" a tire approval of the respective tire manufacturer has to be presented. In the download area we provide in the ABE document all permissible tires including the required tire release. The latest version of the ABE can be found in the downloads. Please check before buying if the ABE is valid for the desired vehicle.
Note: By changing the tire size also changes the gear ratio of the tires which ultimately leads to a deviation of the speedometer display. Since the original speedometer deviates by up to 10% from the real value, the deviation is still within the tolerance for 12" rims with 140 tires as well as 13" rims with max. 140 tires. Actually, this is even advantageous, because with the larger tires, the speedometer display approaches the real speed
Mounting instructions:
- Front wheel: plug & play. No additional mounting kit is required.
- Rear wheel: For rear mounting, the bushing (part no.MV848039) is always required.
- For models that are equipped with ABS on the rear wheel as standard, a mounting kit (part no. MV000617) including new wheel bolts and screws for the tone wheel is required. The items are not included and must be ordered separately.
- After mounting the rims on ABS models, the ABS/ASR system should be recalibrated. Detailed instructions are available in the download area or in the vehicle owner's manual.

for Vespa for Vespa GTS/GTS Super/GTV 125-300cc ('14-) For models that are equipped with ABS on the rear wheel as standard, the change to rims from the accessories has always been difficult, often there were problems with the installation of the rear tone wheel. With the SIP bolt kit, these problems are a thing of the past. In the twinkling of an eye, the rims of the "non-ABS" models such as SIP, ZELIONI or even PIAGGIO rims can be mounted, the ABS tone wheel can be screwed to the special wheel nuts with internal thread. Possibly the ABS sensor can drag on the tone wheel, for this we supply two small M5 washers, these simply come to the screw between ABS sensor and swing arm. Consisting of PIAGGIO screws Mounting instructions: Fix the rim with the five new wheel nuts (bolts with hexagon head, internal thread) and the five M8 washers Screw the ABS tone wheel to the internal threads of the wheel nuts using the five M5 Torx screws and the five M5 corrugated washers Now mount the swing arm again The distance of the ABS sensor to the tone wheel should be at least 0,4mm according to PIAGGIO. If the distance is smaller or if the tone wheel rubs against the sensor, one or two of the supplied M5 washers must be placed on the sensor mounting screw between the ABS sensor and the swing arm to create sufficient distance to the tone wheel. CAUTION: The distance should not be too large, otherwise no signal can be picked up.

When converting the GTS models to the 13" MP3 rims, complications usually arise at the rear wheel. The standard bushing on the drive shaft between wheel hub and rim is not compatible with the front wheel rim of the PIAGGIO MP3. The only thing that helps is turning off the original bushing. Who wants to save the time or has no possibility to work on this bushing professionally, should fall back on the SIP bushing. This is exactly adapted to the required diameter and can be mounted plug & play. Simply replaced by the original rear wheel bushing, the new rear wheel can be mounted immediately. When mounting the SIP rims 12 "/ 13 "this bushing is also needed on the rear wheel.
