This functional tank ring allows you to attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag. The package includes a BASIC tank ring and a counterbracket, which can be screwed onto the tank bag individually depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar angle. You can still open the fuel cap without any problems even with the tank ring installed. Basically, all you need is this tank ring and a tank bag for the Honda XL 750 Transalp / E-Clutch (25-) and you’ll have everything you need. Details: Absolutely secure hold, even at high speeds Easy to use thanks to a mechanical locking mechanism The Hepco & Becker tank bag simply snaps into place and locks audibly onto the tank ring Unlocking: The mechanism is unlocked using a strap located at the front of the tank bag in the direction of travel, after which the tank bag can be easily removed In Germany, tank bag systems do not require an ABE (general type approval) or registration in the vehicle documents. Recommended maximum speed with the tank bag mounted: 130 km/h Recommended load capacity for the tank bag: approx. 3 kg Please follow the motorcycle manufacturer’s specifications, as well as the model-specific instructions in the manual or listed here with the product Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings: The general function and operation remain the same. However, unlike the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC tank ring locks only mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, the magnets assist with centering. The difference, therefore, lies solely in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific “metal ring” is the same for both versions. Additional notes: A tank bag with a Lock-it counterholder cannot be mounted on a BASIC tank ring, and vice versa. The tank bag counterholder and the tank ring must be from the same system.
With the help of the plastic-coated wire rope, the tank bag can be connected to the bike in a theft-proof manner.
This tank bag counterholder is screwed to the underside of the Hepco & Becker tank bags. It is normally included in the scope of delivery of the model-specific tank ring Basic. This item is used as a spare part or if you want to use a second tank bag on your motorcycle.

This anti-theft device is fitted inside the tank bag or rear bag and prevents the tank bag from being opened from the outside using the Lock-it locking mechanism. The lid of the tank bag is also locked with the enclosed combination lock.
