However, since the manifold is very thin-walled and also prone to rust due to the material, SIP has developed a stainless steel manifold especially for the Leader and Quasar engines. The SIP stainless steel manifold is mounted within a very short time and replaces the original component. The manifold is made from a high quality stainless steel pipe piece, the flange piece is precision laser cut. The SIP manifold also has the connection for the lambda probe. These are completely made of stainless steel. All systems are 100% MADE IN EUROPE. The exhaust system provides a rich muffled sound. The DB Killer is pre-mounted, can be optionally removed. This makes the system significantly louder. Besides the weight saving of 2,1 Kg compared to the original exhaust, the system delivers a power increase of approx. 1,5HP with the DB killer installed. Polished stainless steel SlipOn-Anlag Total weight incl. V2A manifold 3,8kg Important note: For racing purposes only. Not approved in the area of the German StVZO! ATTENTION: Due to the very soft suspension, racing exhausts can graze the side fairing when the rear shocks are compressed.
